| Meet Senior Assistance Program's New Manager |

She's looking forward to working with the HRAIL program; the city-funded program provides minor repairs and accessibility improvements for Chicago's low and moderate income senior citizens (60 years old and over). Additionally, qualifying recipients are homeowners living in a single-family home or multi-unit apartment building. Liz will be working with our great HRAIL crew, Jose and Jaime Garcia, to service southwest side seniors, and is excited to provide operational support to her co-workers. Oftentimes, HRAIL improvements are what allow seniors to stay independent and in their own homes. She hopes to give as much assistance as possible to our visitors and residents in need of quick information and repairs. Her focus will be listening to and scheduling and communicating with our senior citizens to make essential repairs possible. Liz will also be working as the GSDC office manager. A resident of Orland Park, she is happily married, raising 2 wonderful daughters - and is a proud Girl Scout mom. For more information about HRAIL, please feel free to give Liz a call at 773.436.1000 or email her at e.salamanca@greatersouthwest.org. |
