 On November 19, Bank of America recognized Greater Southwest with a "Neighborhood Builders" Award at the bank's 2008 Chicago Neighborhood Excellence Initiative Awards, held at the Chicago Cultural Center. Accepting on behalf of Greater Southwest was CEO James Capraro (pictured left, 2nd from right) and Board President Gintaras Cepenas (3rd from right). GSDC will receive an unrestricted $200,000 grant that will go towards supporting the work of our REACH Center and the Industrial & Commercial Divisions. In addition, Capraro and CFO Donna Stites will participate in a strategic leadership development program. Honored alongside GSDC as a "Neighborhood Builder" was Pilsen's National Museum of Mexican Art. (See video of James Capraro's acceptance speech here.)
