Chicago Lawn Portal Logo

In additon to social media, GSDC has also embraced hyperlocal news with the Chicago Lawn Portal. As a collaboration between Auburn Gresham and Englewood, the portal is part of the Southwest Smart Communities Initiative by enhancing existing digital systems and improving access to the web. The Chicago Lawn Portal in particular has seen success in engaging its residents and encouraging them to participate by contributing their own stories. Local businesses can also post important information about themselves, including their location, hours of operation, contact information and current sales or promotions. This business directory is especially useful for those businesses who do not currently have a website.

If you would like to join the portal, be sure to visit www.chicagolawnportal.org to sign up. It is free of charge and super simple. Join today!
